With the increasing number of frauds in the securities market, SEBI has over the period has done investigations into many scrips and passed several orders against various entities imposing huge penalties, debarment, disgorgement and other stringent actions. The entities who are aggrieved by the orders of SEBI can approach to the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) for relief against the orders of SEBI, within 45 days of passing the orders by SEBI.
